In 2004, Petr Palas started Kentico as a profit-funded, no venture capital company. Since then, Kentico has continued to grow rapidly each year and is currently a company of over 90 people with a network of 1,200+ partners spanning 87 countries. Before starting Kentico Software, Petr Palas already had 5-years of experience in software development and marketing in Moravia IT, the leading IT localization company, where he led the PortSight division focused on the development of website portals and components on the Microsoft .NET platform.

Martin leads the development of Kentico CMS and deals with its architecture and core programming. He joined Kentico at almost the very beginning, 7 years ago, and was one of the company’s first full-time employees. Thomas Robbins Chief Evangelist, Kentico software

Thom Robbins is the Chief Evangelist for Kentico Software. He is responsible for evangelizing on-line marketers, Web developers, Web designers and interactive agencies to Kentico CMS for ASP.NET. Prior to joining Kentico, Thom had been at Microsoft Corporation since 2000 and served in a number of executive positions. Most recently, he led the Developer Audience Marketing group that was responsible for increasing developer satisfaction with the Microsoft platform. Thom also led the .NET Platform Product Management group responsible for customer adoption and implementation of the .NET Framework and Visual Studio. He was also a Principal Developer Evangelist working with developers around the world on implementing .NET based solutions.

Eric C. Webb President of Sales & Operations, Kentico Software

As President of Sales & Operations for Kentico Software, Eric is responsible for the sales operations in North America and is accountable for all associated key business development initiatives. He provides input for future development of Kentico CMS, and maintains strategic alliance partnerships. Eric joined Kentico Software in the fall of 2008 and brings over 9 years of experience in enterprise software sales and Web content management. His approach to building and managing the US team has given Kentico Software the ability to establish a successful North American presence and extend a 24/7 support service worldwide.

Jakub is the leader of one of the development teams at Kentico and has a deep knowledge of the Kentico solution. He joined Kentico five years ago, and started with version 2.0.
His team is responsible for Portal engine, URL processing & SEO and Search.

Chris Knepp Account Manager, Kentico Software

Chris Knepp joined Kentico Software in the United States in March 2010 to manage the east coast sales region and solution partner relationships. He came to Kentico with a wealth of Web Content Management Knowledge, having spent the last six years selling WCMS, as well as developing and managing strategic relationships.

Jaroslav joined Kentico in 2006. For several years he’d been leading one of the development teams whose main focus was content management, including Documents, Custom tables and Workflow. This year, Jaroslav has taken the role of Group Product Manager and will take care of improvements in and the direction of content management on the Kentico platform.

Stepan Kozak Technical Leader, Kentico Software

Stepan joined Kentico in June 2007 (around version 2.2). He is now the leader of the Core & Data development team at Kentico. His team is focused on low-level generic code including K# macro engine and REST integration. You can discuss various topics including Macro Engine (K# language features), REST support and XLIFF support (Translation Services).

Petr joined Kentico in February 2006 while he was studying at technical university. After several years of leading one of the development teams, he has become a Group Product Manager, responsible for future enhancements of Kentico’s E-commerce solution, meaning he is now focused on market research and collecting feedback from customers to ensure the E-commerce solution evolves as it should. Having a deep technical knowledge of the whole E-commerce solution makes him the right person to ask about different e-commerce customizations.

Vita Janecek Group Product Manager/On-line Marketing, Kentico Software

Vita started working at Kentico as a Support engineer five years ago. After two years he switched to the development department and joined Zdenek’s team. Now he works as a Group Product Manager, responsible for On-line Marketing features. His team takes care of the following modules: Contact management, Lead Scoring, Marketing automation, A/B + MVT testing, Newsletters, Web Analytics and SalesForce + Data.Com.

Zdenek Strach Technical Leader, Kentico Software

Zdenek joined Kentico in 2006, when work on Kentico version 2.0 had just begun. Soon promoted to leader of one of the development teams, his main focus was on modules like E-mail engine & Newsletters, Contact management & Scoring, Form engine, User contributions and Localization and Partner Portal development. The team has since become two, with his new team being responsible for the UI, Base Modules, Globalization and Localization.

Juraj Hrinik Group Product Manager/Community and Intranet, Kentico Software

Juraj joined Kentico in 2007 and is now leader of the development team responsible for the WYSIWYG editor, Media library, Media dialogs and other controls throughout the Kentico solution. For Kentico CMS 7, he and his team developed a completely new Chat module and instigated support for mobile development. Later this year he starts as Group Product Manager for Community & Intranet (Chat, Blogs, Forums, User Contributions etc.) and will be responsible for feature developments in these areas of the Kentico CMS.

Dominik Pinter Group Product Manager/SaaS and Cloud, Kentico Software

Dominik joined the Kentico team five years ago and now works as Group Product Manager for Cloud features (Windows Azure, Amazon AWS, etc.). He is also responsible for Kentico+ which is the SaaS offering of Kentico EMS. Dominik‘s big passion is Web application security, so he also oversees the security of Kentico CMS/EMS. You can discuss any of these or more general topics with him, like Integration/Unit testing or code quality.
