About Denver

A major transport hub, Denver’s International airport is the 10th busiest in the world and the city boasts excellent road and rail links too.
Downtown Denver is a European-like center city, with a mile-long pedestrian promenade, tree-lined streets, parks and outdoor caf├ęs.
Denver boasts an excellent array of shops, including The Cherry Creek Shopping District, which has nearly 500 department stores, art galleries, shops and boutiques.
Whatever your culinary taste, you’ll find it within walking distance in one of downtown Denver’s 2,000 restaurants. Specialties include Southwestern dishes, buffalo, Colorado beef and lamb. Denver brews 100 different beers daily at the Coors Brewing Company – the largest single brewing site on earth.
Cultural delights include The Denver Performing Arts Complex, which hosts opera, theatre, symphony and ballet performances. The Denver Art Museum, designed by Daniel Libeskind, is known for its collection of American Indian art, while the Museum of Contemporary Art, designed by David Adjaye, features a range of exhibitions promoting creative experimentation with art and ideas.
You are never far from nature in Denver, as it boasts the nation’s largest city park system and the massive Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Denver Zoo presents 3,500 different animals, from over 650 species, and the Botanic Gardens is one of the finest in the nation.
While the Rocky Mountains are still snowcapped, Denver enjoys delightfully warm, sunny days. Fall can arrive early in the high country and the mountain trees show off their autumnal delights from mid-September to mid-October.
